A couple of good plays behind the dish from FR Hunter Carns today. Athletic play on the first pitch to give himself a chance at throwing the runner out on a CH in the dirt. Quick transfer, accurate throw on the second. Good tag by Lodise gets the runner on the second try.

This baseball was absolutely crushed by Myles Bailey. One of the furthest I have seen in my time covering the program. I am 99% certain it would have hit the circus tent if it was standing, pretty sure it landed on the concrete surface of the circus. 112 MPH exit velo.
Fall weekend action at Nielsen
FR Noah Sheffield impacted the baseball well in BP this afternoon. He has some more juice at the plate than I expected, powered a couple of balls into and over the pen. Gets the waggle from dad (yes, Gary), intrigued to see how his timing holds up against college velo.
