Wondering what to do with all the leveled books? We removed the A/B/C books then dumped all our carts, bins & classroom collections & reorganized by interest. All levels were removed & each book was given coloured stickers allowing for easy organization & trading amongst classes.

This is a fantastic way to integrate handwriting and foundational skills instruction!
We use wipe-off Sky, Grass, Ground templates for our @UFLiteracy word work chains. This helps us combine spelling with proper letter formation. (And yes, we do lots of printing while sitting at tables too!)
The literacy leaders and 3rd grade team at @HCPS_Springhead are killing it! 1 hour of planning focused on aligned benchmarks, instruction, tasks and assessment. Kids were at the center at all times and everyone was prepared and shared a voice. 🔥 @Jaime_Gerding
