STARTS FRIDAY. I-69 southbound: Entrance ramp closed. Between IN 32 and E 200 S (Daleville). Entrance ramp closed. Right lane closed. Starting Friday at 7:00PM EDT until Sunday, at about 1:00PM EDT.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM for Delaware County and surrounding areas. A line of severe storms that have produced tornado warnings in the last hour is moving across the state. Be weather aware this evening.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has now been issued and valid through 4pm. This storm will be impacting the Rpyerton, Gaston, Muncie areas. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

Delaware County Emergency Management Reposted

Avoid the area of SR 332 west of County Road 600 W to I-69. All access to SR332 is now closed for all traffic. Use alternate routes. This is being done to protect our county roads, and the railroad from significant damage from truck and high vehicle traffic

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for Delaware County and surrounding areas effective through 8pm

Be weather aware today - two rounds of storms will impact the area. The first round this morning could bring heavy rains and gusty winds. There is a significant risk of stronger storms later this afternoon with large hail, damaging winds, and tornados all possible.

These are the probabilities for convective hazards this afternoon and evening. Very large hail (2"+), damaging wind gusts, and tornadoes (potentially significant) are all possible. The greatest threat will be across the eastern half of central Indiana. #INwx

NOTICE: We have been notified that I-69 Northbound north of SR 28 will be CLOSED starting around 10:30am this morning for emergency repair work, and could be closed for up to 12 hours.

The National Weather Service in has issued a Red Flag Warning for critical fire weather conditions, which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM. Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Never throw cigarettes out of a vehicle.
