Ive been helping to take care of my grandmother who’s in hospice care. She has stage 4, terminal lung cancer. She’s been staying w/ me for the last few weeks, and 😮💨 Caretaker burnout is real! I’ve tried to keep my schedule (outside of leaving the campaign trail) but it’s tough!
It’s amazing how a person’s idiocy is glaringly apparent once you remove them from your space. 🤦🏾♀️
Today starts a new day in my new year. I release the mistakes of the past and welcome new possibilities. I cannot open new doors with old keys so I will let go of thoughts that keep me stagnating. This is a clean start to something new and I will take advantage of this time.
