Another question for today: Have you ever wondered why often in animations/images we see smilodon (saber-tooth tiger) attacking with its mouth closed? And all because it is unprofitable for them to do so. Opening their mouths they risk breaking their finishing weapon - fangs.

Just forgot to mention that the previously depicted proboscis (well, you yourself understand that a mammoth) was one of the largest - the imperial mammoth, which had no wool (I depicted it from an old picture in Google :) but they really were as big as in the first image
