I had a tour of the amazing #schoolgarden at Banksia Rd PS before we planted out a native tea garden 🪴 Native raspberry- lemon myrtle - lemon tea tree - Correa alba - river mint - Davidson plum - native peppermint - native sarsaparilla- aniseed myrtle 😋
The students from Lawrence Hargraves School checked the pH of their ‘organic’ soil mix & realised that it wasn’t so organic after all - we added a nice mix of manure & compost & look forward to a bumper crop over the summer 🌽🍅🫑🥕🥒🌶️ #youthcommunitygreening

Visited 7 schools & preschools on the NSW Mid-North Coast over the last 2 days providing assistance & planning for 2025 - so many excited by the garden projects/programs happening & the commitment of the teachers & communities 🌱🌿🌳💚 #youthcommunitygreening
My youngest was away at #artcamp yesterday on #thicktrunktuesday she sketched some fine trunks - she also did a self-portrait as a #centenarian reflecting on her life 😁🌳
We are so proud of this Wattle Superstart who attended @GeorgesRiverEEC and led a session on the Ajuga Rain Garden to numerous other students from other schools.He was confident, assured and demonstrated his knowledge of the project.
Great trip out to Griffith with @BrendenMoore29 official opening of the Dave Taylor park and community and cultural gardens ! Great to be back supporting community to grow food ! It’s been a while since we were here supporting Pioneer community 💚🌱
