finally got to play destiny rising today. played about 5 hours and so far, kinda impressed? obviously you can only do so much with a mobile game, but like...mostly positive experience thus far. when monetization and grind are made more clear, the convo might change.
out of town for the next 8 days. second channel has 4 videos prepared, main channel will have the solo dungeon guide going up soon. nov/dec. will have more variety gaming since i'm almost done w/ destiny videos. we'll tackle destiny rising alpha when i return (if i get a key?).
not gonna cover this article today, i'll combine the next article and this into 1 video. BUT, something that did draw my eye is the concept of more dynamic enemy spawns vs. the typical scripted stuff, would love to see that explored more in the entire game bungie.net/7/en/News/arti…
haven't run it on normal yet, but i think bungie cooked with this dungeon. i thought it was cool to return to the DSC vibes, refreshed the scan/suppress roles a bit, servitor boss was cool, both parts, final boss takes a bit long, but still a neat fight. nice job RAD team

that moment when i'm watching a video and had an ad start playing and it was me
inconsistent uploads in september have been because of a couple of personal trips/travel. hard to get into routine when i'm in and out of the house so much. i'm fully back tomorrow for a little while, so we should be back to normal soon.
never did i think i would enjoy a MOBA ever again, much less be writing some guide content for it. i have really been enjoying deadlock and i might invest some extra time into it for the next couple of months and see how it goes (2nd channel content, not main).

enjoyed the exotic mission. environment was awesome, combat was not bad as a solo, wanted a bit more from the puzzle elements though. story implications and lore were pretty neat as well. good stuff.
