Some highlights from our research paper: 1. Cooperative working breed clades struggled more in the reversal learning phase but showed more perseverance in extinction. Ancient breeds on the other hand, adapted faster but disengaged quickly when rewards stopped during extinction.
📢🗣️My paper, studying dog breed differences in learning performance is out: nature.com/articles/s4159… We found that breed clades may exhibit distinct learning profiles, shaped differently by factors including age, reward responsiveness, impulsivity, and training history.
So pleased to announce that my paper, "If I Fits I Sits: A Citizen Science Investigation into Illusory Contour Susceptibility in Domestic Cats (Felis silvestris catus) has just been published in AABS! #IfIFitsISits #CatSquare #CitizenScience #CommunityScience
