Thanks to @DandenongCC for another great day celebrating a special tradition between our clubs. Great to see so many greats of the competition out at Shepley. Without them, players don’t have the opportunities they have today. 🙏❤️🖤💙
🏏@dandenongcc star Shobit Singh has made an explosive start to the Premier Cricket season but his expectations and ambitions have him hungry for even bigger scores. STORY 👉 bit.ly/48ZuwlW
Another Gippsland fast bowler quickly coming through. Noah Hurley has taken nine wickets in seven days for Dandenong: four against Northcote last week, 5-49 against Greenvale Kangaroos yesterday. The great Ian Wrigglesworth did say he was one to watch.
Brett and Shobit surpass the highest batting partnership for Dandenong previously held by Michael Hewitt and David McLeod (252) since 1992-93. At the same time passing the 3rd wicket high of Tim Hooper and Cameron White (219) set in 2001. New tally 273.
Whoa. Keep an eye on the score at Shepley. Shobit Singh, coming off an innings of 160 against Northcote, is 167 off 164 balls against Greenvale. Brett Forsyth is on 121, his 25th @vicpremcricket ton. Dandy are 2-307 off 66.
2nd XI score update @GreenvaleRoosCC 7/192 chasing 250. The @DandenongCC seamers are impressive on a flat deck. Odil Perera with a great 100
Two-time Ryder Medal champion Brett Forsyth working towards a 24th @vicpremcricket century as he anchors Dandy's run chase against the Heat. More runs too for the impressive Dhanusha Gamage.
Great effort from Dandenong CC leggie Vishwa Ramkumar for the Australian Under 19s in the first unofficial Test against India. Took 4-79 in the first innings and 3-75 in the second. India won the four-dayer by two wickets.
Well done to Josh Sawrey on coming 2nd (1 vote off) for best player in Second XI. Awesome effort this season with both bay and ball. Also to Chhina for coming 5th in the Fourth XI 🏏 Panther Pride 💙❤️
Vic cricket great Brendan McArdle keen to hear from any players wanting to go to the UK this winter. He has three Yorkshire clubs looking for cricketers. One needs a bowler, the other two a batter or a keeper. Airfares, accommodation and a job part of the package. 🏏
Townsend and Forsyth toasted at Kookaburra Victorian Premier Cricket Awards wix.to/sy5OcKg
Brett Forsyth is in the news after his second Jack Ryder Medal win in @vicpremcricket And he was in the news 23 years ago, on the front page of the old Springvale Times, when at the age of 12 he hit a century in senior cricket.
Congratulations to Panther Dhanusha Gamage who made the @vicpremcricket Team of the year in his debut season at First XI level. On the back of 516 runs at 57 batting number 3 💙❤️
Brett Forsyth! The Dandenong champion has won his second @vicpremcricket Jack Ryder Medal.
The great Bushy McArdle was among the first people to congratulate Brett Forsyth on his second Ryder Medal.
Brett Forsyth with a second Jack Ryder Medal around his neck. Passed the 10,000-run mark for Dandenong this season. What a cricketer.
Brett Forsyth gets there against Geelong. The Dandenong captain has his 23rd century in @vicpremcricket and his fourth this season as he takes his aggregate to 750. Stunning from the skipper.
The @vicpremcricket 10,000-run club Warren Ayres 15, 277 Garry Watts 12,933 John Scholes 12,693 Jack Ryder 12,677 Peter McAlister 11,893 Andrew Kent 11,032 Simon Hill 10,994 Darren Dempsey 10,154 Peter Dickson 10,045 David King 10,035 And, after Saturday, Brett Forsyth 10,001 👏
Big day for young paceman Nathan Whitford from the Sale-Maffra association. Was called up to Dandenong's team for the T20s today in @vicpremcricket - and he's just bagged Jake Fraser-McGurk for a duck.
Some of Premier Cricket’s best young talent have been selected in the Victoria Country and Metro U19 squads! The teams will play in the national championships in Brisbane in December🏏
