Things just got meta: Read more about our social media strategy and what it means for A/E/C via @InteriorsSource ow.ly/kCfZk

The best part of waking up (at least on days like today)? Inspirational chats with @tinochow and @neilbrown, hands down.

Closing thoughts by @wkamkwamba remind me of the proverb often quoted by Maurice Cox: Nothing about us without us is for us. #PIDWeek

.@wkamkwamba's #PIDWeek keynote teaches us that humble motivations and means can produce amazing results (and some hilarious missteps).

If we could all be half (or even a quarter) as resilient in our trial & error as @wkamkwamba, we'd have design solutions galore... #PIDWeek

I think we've all be there... @wkamkwamba's mother thought he was crazy when he started collecting junkyard scraps for a windmill. #PIDWeek

An innate curiosity for how things work led @wkamkwamba to invention. But storytelling skills are def what got him to this stage. #PIDWeek

.@wkamkwamba was driven to explore a life outside farming, not because it was a bad option, but to learn what options there were. #PIDWeek

.@courtwrites welcomes @wkamkwamba, an awe-inspiring example of someone who saw a problem & designed a solution, without training. #PIDWeek

.@katestohr notes that "mission drift" is a big risk when programs are entirely dependent on the future funders that back them. #PIDWeek

Government savings as the loan payback? End users as equity partners? There a tons of $ options that have yet to be explored. #PIDWeek

An all too common issue when orgs seek financing for projects: "If I don't know what you need, I don't know how to fund you." #PIDWeek

Up next: @johncary moderates a diverse panel of leaders from @NEAarts @McKnightFdn @enterprisenow & @archforhumanity abt funding. #PIDWeek

Information sharing is a huge obstacle, both among service providers & even within communities. Can social media help solve this? #PIDWeek

We should all demand better design for our communities. But we must observe & understand the context before making those demands. #PIDWeek

The Sudan Jalle School may have been developed by a small team, but represents the desire for peace of thousands of "lost boys." #PIDWeek

Runo Okiomah makes a great point: a big reason for mapping existing conditions is to consistently document a community's assets. #PIDWeek

Great to see that Solo Kota Kita is compiling & sharing their lessons learned! #PIDWeek http://t.co/Snud2ZR3S1
