A dominant opening 45 and a 3 goal half time lead made it hard work for the opponents. But an improved second period saw them score early on. A scrappy remainder of the game and no further goals as it ended 3-1.
A dominant opening 45 should have seen us out of sight. However missed chances left us with only a 1 goal lead. The 2nd half proved to be more even, before the hosts took the lead late on. A last minute free kick saw us rescue a point, but it was definitely a case of 2 dropped.
A really poor and out of character first half set the tone for a disappointing result today. An improved 2nd period with plenty of pressure, but we couldn’t find the breakthrough. Credit to the hosts who made it hard work throughout and also missed a 1st half penalty.

Safely through to the next round of the League Cup. Not at our best in a scrappy first half, but an improved second period saw us run away with the game. Credit to the home side, a technically impressive team who played some good football throughout.
We take all 3 points after a relatively comfortable victory. A first half that saw us squander several openings ended with us 1 to the good. Second period an early goal gave us a 2 goal cushion before we got sloppy in possession and never really got into stride.
