Reminder: Every student wishing to check-out equipment from the lab must sign a new equipment agreement at the start of each semester. This is your key to activating a Cheqroom account.


The CEL will be closed today from 5-6 PM, if you need equipment please come before or after!


We will be CLOSED from October 12th through October 15th in observance of ASU's Fall Break - if you need equipment over break please check it out by October 11th.

Do not sign your Fall 2024 equipment agreement until August 10th! Signing before Summer session is officially complete means your Fall agreement will be voided! Sign your Fall 2024 equipment agreement starting August 10th.


Did you know the Cronkite Equipment Lab has more than 4,000 items that can be checked out? Here are a few you may not know about. Shoulder rigs for cameras, gimbals for cameras and smart phones, audio boom poles and flashes for our Canon DSLR's and mirrorless cameras.

All equipment is due back to the Cronkite Equipment Lab by Friday, April 26th at 6pm.


All checkouts must be returned to The Cronkite Equipment Lab no later than April 26th at 6:00pm.


Please do not change the internal video or audio settings on your video camera (XF605 or XF705) - these have been customized to Cronkite specifications to create video you can edit on our Premiere Pro 2024 workstations!

There will be 105 checkouts returning equipment on Monday morning. Please be patient as we expect a line at times. We will get your equipment checked in as quickly as possible. AM


We will be closed from March 2nd through the 10th for ASU's Spring Break.


We will be closed for Spring Break. March 2nd through March 10th. Equipment checked out on 2/29 and 3/1 will be due back on Monday, March 11th. Reminder: Cronkite Equipment may only be used for course assignments.

We are happy to extend checkouts on equipment that isn't reserved for another student. Bring your equipment to the lab, ask for an extension and we'll scan your equipment to extend your checkout!


Water and electronics don't mix. Please keep your equipment dry during our rainy weather.


The Cronkite Equipment Lab will be closed on Monday, January 15th in observance of the MLK holiday.
