Thanks to the trackers on some of the juvenile birds, over the last week we have seen flight speeds of up to 32mph,flights lasting around 45 minutes and one bird is following the contours of the land she is on. Drop us any Great Bustard sightings at enquiries@greatbustard.org

New open access paper out on the population genetics of the cryptic grasswren! Being ground-dwelling, we found significant landscape barriers in the last remaining population within Western Australia. 🐦
