An excellent podcast. Highlighting the importance of self care for social workers. Also, use of mindfulness with some folks your supporting. I especially liked the body scan technique, to ensure you are in the present.

This will definitely be worth a listen #socialwork Dr Maddock is a fabulous researcher & educator - he has a robust eye on the granularity of mindfulness and self care in and for social work Thank you @mgoat73 for this great guest. Can’t wait to listen @AlanMaddock1 👏👏👏

What a privilege it was to meet Luke @Bristol2B today at #TeamYoungLives to participate in a small way (just the 5km) in his amazing challenge. What an inspiration 🚴🏼‍♂️👏🏽

And they're off! Our CEO @RachelKirbyR has joined @Bristol2B on his bike in a bid for Luke to reach his target of cycling from Bristol to Beijing! After 2 years and crossing 29 countries, it's so lovely to give a warm welcome to Luke at the @YLvsCancer office and say thank you!
