Talked to a friend. Her CEO treats their company as a family… The CEO is divorced though.

I'm not going to force my kids to do anything. It's up to them which programming language they want to learn.

Many people quit their jobs because they wanted to improve their employer's business, but didn’t find such an opportunity or didn’t have enough autonomy to do that. What an irony.

Software engineering is probably the only career where interviews are usually harder than the actual job. 🤔

Inspired by @DmytroKrasun, today I begin my own #buildinpublic journey with the @GMotISE project, where I can combine my two biggest passions: economics and game development. Discover the cruel market rules in a joyful form of online competition! Please wish me some good luck ;)

Recently I've been trying to communicate with each person as if this is the last time we are seeing each other... Not on the run, not in a hurry. “The most important person in your life is the one who is in front of you right now.” Amazing life experience.

More and more of my friends are trying to start a career in programming. I am often asked the same question: what language should I learn first? And my answer has been the same for a decade – English.

A friendly reminder that simple duplication is a lot better than early abstractions. You need to experience the re-use case to have the insights required to create the right abstraction. Unless abstractions simplify things, don't introduce them.

I have been waiting for years for my life to change... But now I know and realize that this was it who was waiting for me to change.

What's the oldest thing you own and still use regularly? I've had the same alarm clock for 29 years.

I'm getting spam messages from recruiters all over the place again. Does this mean that the IT industry's two-year phase of uncertainty and stagnation is already over?
