Motivational talk, by helping players have appropriate objectives, starting from outcome (wanting to win) and rifling through process (tasks to complete)…and help them explore their ‘why’s’ and their ‘what for’s’ (that can neatly envelope their game objectives).
During my UEFA A Licence some years ago, @benbarts set these coach intervention challenges for breaks in practices. They were an incredible learning tool regarding how you act as a coach - give them a try at your next session!
