Great coaches, especially QB Coaches, don't simply give their QB answers (ie "this guy will be open" or "throw it here") but instead give them a process for everything- if this happens, I can do this. Should be baked into not just scheme but any scenario work that you do w/ them

Coaching Matters!!! We see it weekly! As a QB I always took the approach “WHAT IF”: What IF the D brings pressure? What IF they don’t play the perfect coverage for a play? What IF they play man? What IF they play a particular zone? What IF I don’t get perfect coverage in 2min…

Honesty & trust have to be the backbone of every player/coach relationship...if you lie to your players or ask them to lie for you (to teammates, admins, etc.), how can they ever believe what you say- either constructive criticism for growth or when encouraging or applauding them

In leadership Telling the truth is The only way. Honesty is something you have complete control over. It reflects reality and it benefits others. Even if it’s sometimes unpleasant. This doesn’t mean you have to be demeaning, nobody wins when that happens.

The power of positivity.

This times 10000000000000! Find more ways to reach athletes and stop blaming them! Don’t like how they do something? Coach it up.

Justin Fields is a perfect example of Mike Tomlin’s coaching philosophy. Pittsburgh is an organization in sync because of its head coach. We are seeing something similar in Green Bay with Malik Willis. Coach players and make them better!!!

Flash back to the Norse football days in the old rock room! Nothing like hearing a pregame speech ending with “lights” before a pitch black room erupted with this! Football is back! Let’s go!
