This Remembrance Day, I joined our community and local Legion Branches 101 + 643 to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who have served our country. Lest we forget.

Shelters are essential city services—critical supports that belong in all communities and the first step towards a permanent home. This morning, I joined faith leaders, @MayorOliviaChow, and Councillors to call for a caring and supportive approach to shelters and homelessness.

Thank you @MayorOliviaChow for recognizing the critical role libraries play as social, cultural, + educational third places, and thank you to all the @TorontoLibrary staff who are working hard to make this possible!

Toronto loves the library. I know I love my library. That’s why today, I’m so very happy to announce our plan to make sure all 100 @torontolibrary branches across the city are finally open 7 days a week year round.
