i really don't get people who are confident A will stay dead and vice versa. The devs literally said her fate is open to interpretation. They didn't confirm either fate lol. So name calling people stupid for believing a certain way is pointless.

Y'know, I think about what Aerith tells him in this scene and how in this moment Cloud learns that he's truly wanted by someone and that they enjoy his company. One of the first people who accepted him was later ripped away from him, and we know that he never recovers #clerith
For years CT's said they were "looking forward" to seeing Cloud beat Aerith at the temple of the ancients. Instead they got Cloud attempting to murder Tifa. That's karma bitches.
Maybe a hot take but Remake/Rebirth in-game Aerith is by far the best iteration of Aerith we've ever seen. Light years ahead of AC and CC. Even better than the Remake/Rebirth cg cinematic models. Most beautiful character I've ever seen. Especially with the English recasting
