New 19F-MRI sensor that maps transient Zn²⁺ fluctuations with high specificity and 12 ppm shift. This approach will inspire to develop sensors for advanced biological imaging. Congrats @Lucia_MLee @BarShir_Lab #NMRchat #chemtwitter #MRI @ACS_Sensors pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…

Yo it feels like a million o’clock right now.

SBHSE staff are amazing - look at what they built! And a cameo from Hilo @ASUEngineering

Just reviewed nominations for a prestigious chemistry award and < 5% nominees were women?!? 😳 Mentors - there are excellent women in chemistry, so PLEASE nominate them! Of course they shouldn't win just for showing up, but they'll never get to swim unless they're in the pool!🏄‍♀️

I write A LOT of recommendation letters and I get pestered to be responsive to deadlines (fair), but rarely does anybody follow up with the result. Did they get into med/grad school? Tenure awarded? Big Prize?

This MRI contrast agent tracks nitric oxide in real-time, revealing inflammation at its earliest stages! Specific to NO, this can also help with treatment monitoring – have a look: pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
