Dear Lord, Today, as I enter the new month of June, I take a moment to thank You for Your endless love and grace that's been holding me together. I declare that this month is going to be special. No obstacles will stand in my way. All of my silent prayers are about to become…
Congrats to @GamecockWBB and Coach @DawnStaley on a perfect season and their third title! It's been an incredible year for women's basketball, and this team was so disciplined and talented. Well deserved.
.@Beyonce, you are a record-breaker and history-maker. With Cowboy Carter, you have changed the game once again by helping redefine a music genre and transform our culture. I am so proud of you!

“Given the immense stress she faced, and recent reports of Black women dying in their presidential leadership roles, perhaps her choice was a matter of self-preservation in addition to her stated preservation of Harvard.”

Blog | For those who question the long-term sustainability of HBCUs, I caution them not to bet against the sector! Despite recent increases in presidential turnover, the leadership bench is deeper and stronger than some would have us believe. bit.ly/47hbWUK
I wanted to share some of my thoughts on today's Supreme Court decision on affirmative action:
Did you know that a black enslaved man was responsible for introducing innoculation (vaccination) to America? Onesimus, introduced the idea of vaccination based upon the African practice of inoculation in Libya,to help mitigate spread of smallpox thus saving lives 💉THREAD💉
Say it again. The last time someone told me "Black people don't really do philanthropy" I calmly walked to HR & filed a formal complaint & then returned to school this person on the condition he meet with me on the first floor of the building so I didn't yeet him off the second.
And that doesn’t include the other civic, fraternal, & social organizations that Black people donate their time and money to. In fact, Black Americans give MORE of their wealth and income to charity and community groups than other groups
