Leafs need to realize that when the opposition has been on for a 1:30 and you’re in the o-zone, nothing is going to happen when you play with the puck and stay on the perimeter. Throw everything on net and crash the middle. #LeafsForever

If somebody would have told me when the Leafs signed Tavares that he’d still be this good in year 7 of that deal, I wouldn’t have believed it. Still a point a game player.

Honestly I don’t know how you can watch Mitch Marner over these last 3 games and still argue he’s best suited playing with Matthews. He’s a completely different, FAR more effective player when he’s not forcing it with 34.

Leafs lose for the 3rd Saturday in a row. Leafs lose both games to a weak blues team missing their 1st line centre. Just not good enough. Same old Leafs if ya ask me.

I’m not sure what the plan was with Liljegren when they signed him this summer. How do you go from awarding him a 2yr deal worth $3M AAV to making him a healthy scratch for 8 of the first 9 games, opting for Timmins & Phil Myers instead. What was the point of bringing him back?

Interrupting this honeymoon to share two thoughts. You cannot sustain any success when: 1- Your PP is producing like an expansion team. 2- Your top players aren't playing well. Four guys making 8 figures and they have all been outplayed by Sean Monahan + Jordan Kyrou this week.

The Vikings game should be investigated PERIOD. 80% of the money bet on the Vikings. Every 3rd down stop for the Vikings was a flag and automatic first down. The most pivotal moment of the game blatant face mask call not made in front of 2 refs to end the game.

The Leafs Powerplay is different this year. This year they haven’t waited till the playoffs to show us its true colors and what an absolute abomination it is. Completely useless.
