Unbelievers do not separate our behavior from our belief. Nor should they. Our belief and our behavior should, as best as we can, match.

A proper and correct understanding of the end times comforts us, but also compels us to share the Gospel with others.

“For nothing is more unseemly than a man that is idle and good for nothing, who profits neither himself nor others, and seems born only to eat and drink.” ~ John Calvin

When we are about the Father’s business we don’t have time to meddle in the affairs of others. When we are focused on loving others and how we grow in that love, we won’t worry about others poor walk to God or lack of walk with God.

The excessively busy person doesn't show love. The excessively busy church doesn't show love. We love others by slowing down and being present with them, by listening to a friend, by asking the clerk at Wal-Mart how they’re doing, or by calling someone you haven’t seen at church.

This week I started reading, "The Fathers on the Future" by @Svigel This is a great book and a fantastic resource that I look forward to using in ministry. amazon.com/dp/1496487664?…

Sorry about the fuzzy video on this. The audio is good quality. youtu.be/dS46wIBpVDA #Galatians

Contrary to what we are taught in the world, "Look at me, I’ve done this." As Christians we say, "Look at God, He’s done this." As Christians we don’t congratulate ourselves, we give credit to God.

Even mature believers have room to grow. We never arrive at perfection while on earth, not even the apostle Paul (Phil 3:12-16; Eph 4:13; 1 Peter 2:2; 2 Peter 3:18).

The return of Christ gives us incentive to improve our lives.

All thanks for spiritual progress goes to God.
