Currently distilling some thoughts about art in RPG books that I'm going to write about later today but first, I'm curious. Let's say you buy a 40 page zine. It could be a game or an adventure or whatever. How much art do you want to see in it, in an ideal world?
This has been a fun project! I know a lot of RPG creators are curious about costs, so I thought I'd share what this adventure cost to create. I spent roughly $1,320 dollars on the cover, map, internal art, and editing.

Literally making a video about how passive voice is one of the big pitfalls new TTRPG writers fall into and then this hack dropped xD My second hack is to ctrl-F ‘will’ in your manuscript. 9 times out of 10 it’s going to be a red flag for passive voice.

#TTRPG writers, please read "read this out loud" text boxes out loud after you write them. Some of your sentences may be hard to read out loud or parse as a listener. They could be too long or delay the subject so late that it leaves listeners confused. #amwriting
