My new neighbor collects and displays flags so I got him a little gift and told him all about @Liberland_org Fun to see it up for the neighborhood to see.

#TheNetworkState x New Cities @balajis network state is a powerful idea that is attracting lots of attention and talent to the space of competitive governance pioneered by @patrissimo Yet I encounter a lot of confusion about network states. To many, it seems like a Discord…

So many discussions of @balajis bet take place as if the bet isn't purely symbolic gesture, but also fail to mention that the line is wayyyyy off market. He could have easily gotten 20+BTC:$1M, but of course he doesn't care because this isn't about making an accurate bet.

Incentives matter, which is why government run "anything" turns to crap quickly because the government has no incentive to be efficient when they get your money whether you like it or not.

Maximum hype.

Introducing the Network State Podcast. The first episode features me and @VitalikButerin We talk about starting new countries, upgrading Ethereum, and improving yourself!

As a new father, I'm enjoying stumbling into essays like this one. I won't be disappointed if my son lives a simple life as a good man, but I'd like to give him the best shot I can, no matter his ambitions.

If you want to master something, you should study the highest achievements of you field. What if we take this approach to raising and educating children? An essay escapingflatland.substack.com/p/childhoods

This has been a great read for a pleb like me who is very new to exploring DAOs. Discovered via @chancecollabs

After starting CityDAO, I started to wonder - when we should be using DAOs, and how do we make them work better? Today I'm excited to share my learnings here. daohandbook.xyz

Somehow this one eluded me until today..an excellent podcast featuring easily digestible interviews summarizing startup society projects. Hosted by @JacksonSteger of @creatorcabins campfire-by-cabin.simplecast.com

A fantastic mash-up from @ThorupMikkel that summarizes the recent "goings-on" with special zones around the world.

I'm finally getting back into exploring new startup society projects and support where I can. I'm excited to see how the @afropolitan network state develops. It's hard not to be bullish on Africa over this century, and even harder not to be bullish on the African diaspora.
