Having been blocked and called a dipshit by him after telling him he had a conflict of interest as a commentator and football manager, this will do kinda nicely as vindication ...
Apologies, I really don't want to be negative. But how is it possible to take Robbo seriously? He's been sprouting this stuff for years. Can you hear Bellamy saying it?
Talk is one thing Lindsay Collins ... tonight it's on you to show you've got what it takes whether JWH is beside you or not. Is there 150m in you? I really hope so. Make it count. nrl.com/news/2024/09/2…
Radley is ready to go. No confirmation but it's suggested he'll come off the bench? If so, I'm not sure I follow. As we usually don't rest our edge forwards, I assume he'd give Whyte a breather. Why though would he not start instead of Tupouniua?
Really have no idea how we will run out against Manly but doubt it will be 1-17. My fear, if Radley plays, is that Whyte is shunted to the bench and we retain Butcher and Tupouniua. So hard to win the ruck with smaller forwards but can't see Robbo cutting them.
Fiction ... there is zero evidence presented here that the Roosters are mulling anything or that they have to. Who told you they are mulling a backline overhaul @FOXSportsAUS? Tell us you spoke to someone from the club.
Lots not to like about our first 10 mins on Friday but young Smith was poor. Triggered six again on the fifth. They scored. Passed to ground at their end, cooked his kick, gave up a seven-tackle set. They scored. Manly will put a bullseye on him.
The Roosters were poor and got what they deserved. This try though, Tago has his foot on the tryline. Does he therefore not come from an offside position to score? Remember, the ball hit the post. Genuine question.
Interesting re Nathan Cleary that Penrith now have four running forwards on their bench and no utility ... although Schneider is still among the remaining 19 players.

Technically, we were in the top four teams for points conceded until the last 10 minutes last night ... ahead of Melbourne. At least they won't have to make history to win it now!
Turned it over 17 times and conceded 28 points to the team running second last. Not looking forward to next week.
We go into tonight's game on a five-day turnaround and missing nine regulars ... more than Souths. What's the worst that could happen? Starting the finals with a shitload of injuries and two consecutive losses. Has a nice ring to it!
Robbo saying the Chooks won't change how they play but I'm not buying it. First time I can remember that we will have three bigs on the field for the whole game. We're going through the front door.
Here's one. Wade Graham reckons you need to be top 4 and top 4 in defence to win it. At the moment, that would potentially leave Melbourne out of the equation. The Roosters have an extra game to play but also a 16pt buffer on them for points against.
So the Roosters' backrow has almost done a full cycle, with Crichton on the left edge, previous 13 Radley on the right and previous 12 Butcher at 13. We have only used 26 players this season but five of them have started at lock. Our most unsettled position.
So Seven now employs Willie Mason to give his two cents worth on whatever pops into his head, including the Flanagan-Crichton biting controversy. At the same time, he's on the Bulldogs coaching staff. Clearly a conflict of interest.
Did I just hear Ennis talk about Melbourne's ability to isolate defenders as Nelson dragged four players over the line? Prime nonsense!
Apples to apples: this round last year the Roosters were sitting 12th on 22 pts. Our attack ranked 16th and our defence 9th. We'd also used 31 players. This season, we're 3rd, 28 pts. 1st, 5th and have used 26 players. Yet we still haven't beaten a top 4 opponent!
Wondering if this kid will come into consideration should Manu not pass fit? Nineteen runs for 200+ metres in Cup last start.
I'm honestly not sure if there is a more stupid team in the competition.
