Dear Christian, let’s strive not to be petty. So if you feel; 1. Someone doesn't greet you, greet them. 2. Someone doesn't invite you to their events, it's no problem. 3. Someone doesn't host you, host them in your home.
We love the superficial idea of servanthood and humility because in our pride we like to be considered virtuous. But we do not like it when we are treated as servants and opportunities for humility come our way. True humility counts others as more significant than yoursel.
One implication of growth and godliness in a Christian is that they become easy to live and work with and difficult to offend. Volatile, temperamental, inconsiderate and overly sensitive individuals do not reflect Christlikeness.
