Earlier this morning officers arrested a 27-year-old man from Tyldesley following a pursuit that started in Warrington town centre. The man was eventually brought to a stop in the Devon Street area of Leigh. For more details visit orlo.uk/zOL9J

Yesterday, officers stopped a vehicle at Sandbach Services resulting in the arrest of a man from Burnley. Mark Danson has since been charged with possession with intent to supply and will be appearing at Chester Magistrates' Court today. Read more - orlo.uk/TgwDQ

Leo Meek, 25, of no fixed abode has been jailed for 22 months following a pursuit where he reached speeds of 100mph in a stolen BMW. He was sentenced yesterday having previously pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and handling stolen goods. Read more - orlo.uk/gCmNc

Vehicle sighted M62 West J7. 20 oil drums in the rear not strapped/secured to the vehicle so able to bounce around as the vehicle went down the motorway. Driver had straps, but thought it was okay. Driver reported insecure load.

Jack Watson, 35, from Brighton has been jailed after a pursuit on the M6 and through three counties. He appeared at Chester Crown court on Fri 19 April and was sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to a range of driving offences. More - orlo.uk/vpVax

Vehicle stopped and the driver is provisional licence holder only. Passenger is disqualified so no supervising passenger and no rear L plate which will invalidate the insurance. Driver blew 28 on a roadside breath test but provided a positive drug wipe for cannabis.
