I have never been more relieved to learn that FB is down. I thought everything was compromised.
Tonight is my last night in this beautiful house. By Saturday, I will have a beautiful apartment. Name a feeling, and I’m feeling it.
My one focus is to make my beautiful apartment into a nourishing, healing haven. A place full of love and laughter, where I can learn what it means to be the 44-year-old version of me without a man’s influence. A place to express myself through the space, and keep it just for me.
This is such a new feeling. I have no desire to date or even make plans with a man as a friend. I need my girl friends and to be a good mom to Ozzy. And to process and integrate everything. This is not the way I used to be. I find myself resisting it, but the way out is through.
I’m entering my crone era. Soon to move in to a lair of my own, with Ozzy. For now, one final warm evening on the covered porch.
