Latest work from our lab 🚨 We report on peculiar morphodynamics of chloroplast network in non-motile algae! You like cell biology, active matter, or metamarials? have a look at @nicoschramma’s 🧵below! Comments, feedback, RT is appreciated as always! doi.org/10.1101/2024.0…
Bioluminescent Materials Coming to Reality! 🎉 It was a fantastic experience to be part of this collaboration with @ChenghaiLi3, @ShengqiangCai, @nicoschramma, Zijun Wang, Nada Qari, and Michael Latz. The article is now out: science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

I have Two Postdoc openings in my group: Computational Hydrodynamics of Active Matter: vacatures.uva.nl/UvA/job/Postdo… Experimental Biophysics: vacatures.uva.nl/UvA/job/Postdo… #TheoBiophysicsPosition #ScienceJobs RT is much appreciated 🙏🏼
My postdoc work is published in @ScienceAdvances today. In this work, we develop a kirigami inspired soft robot that can autonomously change trajectories under different environmental stimuli without using traditional mechatronics. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
1st time to attend a conference in US. Nervous but excited. I will give two talks at #USNCTAM2022 on the hydrogel fracture and biohybrid mechanoluminescent robotics. Feel free to stop by if you are interested. Looking forward to meeting and knowing new friends.@UTAustin
Life is too short to worry about stupid things. Have fun. Fall in love. Regret nothing, and don't let people bring you down. Study, think, create, and grow. Teach yourself and teach others. 🧠
Hydrogel networks are typically inhomogeneous. Depending on synthesis conditions, the network structures can vary significantly. Check out our paper to see how the initial monomer fraction affects the network structures & thus their fracture properties. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
