For Nature / Nurture at COLLECT I've made a series of works in Burr from a diseased tree which once shaded Reading Gaol while Oscar Wilde was incarcerated. In their creation I attempt to unearth a form or energy from the material which exists even though the tree has been felled
Chainsawing, bandsawing, turning, hollowing, carving, sanding, sandblasting, making iron solution, finishing, oil waxing and so it continues... Countless processes over countless hours and finally ready for Nature / Nurture by @MyerscoughArt at #COLLECT

Our first meeting is on 18th of August at the Elmcroft Centre for a club night, with the club shop open, a raffle, items on the show and tell table and a presentation or demonstration We will hold our delayed AGM at Elmcroft on the 15th September 2021.
