Than you

We are very lucky to have @Charles_Matts as Vice Chair on our Board of Governors so can fully endorse this lovely message from @yellowwelliesuk

Of all the roles I have held in our great #agriculture industry being invited to help set up and become a founding trustee of FSF has to be one of which I am most proud most. It has been a pleasure and privilege being part of this fantastic charity for the last 8 years. Thank you

This month, we said a heartfelt thank you & goodbye to @Charles_Matts who retired as an independent trustee of the charity after 8 years on the board – we are truly indebted to him for his insight, experience and enthusiasm 💛

This is good news for oilseed rape after a run of poor years

So far, a strong set of winter oilseed rape #HarvestResults from the #RLtrials. Based on nine sites, the average gross output value of the control varieties is 5.72 t/ha, almost 0.5t/ha above the four-year average value (5.23t/ha). bit.ly/3ykLoAe

Very sad news. British agriculture has lost a great ambassador. My condolences to Caroline's family, colleagues and friends

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved CEO Caroline Drummond MBE, who passed away yesterday. Caroline transformed LEAF from small beginnings 30 years ago to where we are today. There are no words to express how much she will be missed.

The Recommended Lists for cereals and oilseeds (RL) 2022/23 is online. It is bursting with new and strengthened variety traits. It also features more options for #septoria management and improved cereal lodging resistance ratings. bit.ly/2ZE9Oc0

It's been an amazing experience supporting this fantastic project to retain a shop and Post Office in our rural community. Thanks to the support of @TNLComFund for providing funding towards much needed storage space. #CommunitiesCan

We're very grateful for the Coronavirus Community Support Funding we've received via the National Lottery Community Fund. If you've been up to the shop this week you'll have seen how it's being used! We've come along way since this pic was taken in 2018! #CommunitiesCan

I know the tweet isn't about this issue it but great to see yet another farmer wearing a helmet when out on a quad bike. Well done to @JohnHowie88 Joining the growing number of people who are doing the sensible thing and wearing a helmet. #FarmSafety #ComeHomeSafely

Since becoming a @qmscotland’s monitor farms, @Johnhowie88’s business has employed a rotational grazing system, while upping sheep from 140 to 500 & dispersing the suckler herd to focus on the beef finishing enterprise. Find out more buff.ly/3633o6Z @DunbiaGroup #BFA20
