And just like that my time in the FRS comes to an end. My first night in the service was spent here and also my last, albeit under very different circumstances but in the very same room which is far, far more luxurious these days…

How it started… How it ended…

For Black Friday we have closed our website for 24 hours. As a small maker, we come in each day to make the best jeans we can, not the most jeans we can. We charge a fair price for them, enough we hope to keep us going as a business.

Louise Haigh resigns immediately for a spent conviction Reform MP James McMurdock was jailed for repeatedly kicking his former girlfriend & Farage stands by him As for the Tories, IF they resign it’s because they’re dragged kicking & screaming & then reappointed later

Firefighters know what solidarity means. Working together and making sure no-one is left behind is the essence of our profession. And when thousands of us come together and make our demand clear, we can shape the future of our service.

When the Thames Valley flooded in 2014, the then PM, David Cameron said that the government would spend whatever it had to help those affected. In Wales when the valleys flood (again) working class communities are expected to pay for it themselves via crowdfunding! Seriously??😳

Valleys submerged, lives devastated, and Welsh Labour MPs launch online crowdfunders? Are you kidding me? The UK Labour Gov has billions for wars and handouts to the rich, but when it’s working-class communities drowning, it’s pass the bucket! A disgrace! Fund flood relief NOW!

Pontypridd Flood Relief Fund Storm Burt has devastated our community Homes and businesses are in need of urgent help Were raising funds to support those affected every donation will go directly to helping them rebuild Donate here gofund.me/93997754 #PontypriddFloodRelief

Today is White Ribbon Day marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Women everywhere should be able to live free from the fear of gender-based violence. It starts with men taking a stand and holding each other accountable.

100s of coal tips STILL unsafe. Labour's response? £25M out of £600M needed. Another Aberfan waiting to happen, all while the suits shrug. Fears during Storm Dennis over safety of tips. If this was middle England, the money would already be spent. But hey, it’s just Wales, right?

I spoke at the Manchester Law Centre this week about the many many warnings our union gave to the Government since 1991 about the risks of cladding and the deregulation of fire safety services. Deregulation cost us so many lives. It cannot be allowed to continue.

A 24 carat t**t! He takes arrogance to another level and he’s doing genuine farmers no good whatsoever. I’ve also not forgotten what he said about striking public sector workers…

“So it’s not about you, it’s not about your farm and the fact you bought a farm to avoid inheritance tax?” @vicderbyshire speaks to Jeremy Clarkson at the farmers’ protest in Westminster where thousands of farmers are protesting the government’s inheritance tax plans.
