We retain the cup, but that’s the last thing today is all about. We thank @SpyeParkCC for helping us keep the memory Billy alive.

We chase 121 for the loss of 3 wickets to retain the Billy Penman cup against @SpyeParkCC . Louis Huyton leading the way with 69 not out.

In the Billy Penman cup, @SpyeParkCC make 120-6 off a reduced 30 overs. The chase is on

Despite the weather, it’s game on at Lacock against our mates up the hill @SpyeParkCC in the annual Billy Penman cup.

As the dust (and rain) settles on another league season it was one of mid table safety for both teams. Never really looking over our shoulders, but also never being close enough to the top to have a push. On our good days we were very good, other days….not quite so!

Performances of the week 🙌 A tough day for the 1s, skipper Thomas with 3-45, then Matt Harding 41 not out supported by James with 38. At Lacock it was a case of massive jug avoidance for the 2s. Cliffy with a wonderful 92, then skipper Culling with 48.
