Dean Strauch holds close to his heart his four years and five senior appearances in the dark Navy Blue guernsey through the late 1980s. But he's only too happy to be greeted as "Jenna Strauch's old man", having witnessed his daughter win Olympic silver in Paris!

It’s a little-known fact that the Gardiner Stand was earmarked for the wrecker’s ball after Melbourne won the rights to host the 1956 Olympic Games. carltonfc.com.au/news/1609291

The Club has acknowledged the incredible achievements of eight former players who played their role in each of the Club’s history-making hat-trick of Grand Final victories in 1906, ’07 and ’08. Worrall’s 'hat-trick heroes' now have their place in Club history.

Congratulations to Tom Carroll, Mark Maclure and Craig Davis who were recently all inducted into the NSW Australian Football Hall of Fame. The three forwards were amongst 100 players, coaches, administrators and media personalities recognised for their contribution to the game.

The Club's 160th year has provided a moment in time to fittingly acknowledge those who made their indelible mark so long ago. Accordingly, 10 greats, each of whom helped shape the Club’s early years, have been inducted into its coveted Hall of Fame.

If there's one person we're sure will be watching closely tonight, it's Ian. Ian proudly lays claim to a 75-year unbroken membership of the Carlton Football Club, taking him back to the halcyon days of Clark, Deacon and Henfry.

Approaching 80 years to the day of his passing, it's apt that former Carlton and Geelong rover Jim Knight's two old teams will meet at the MCG this weekend. 🌹 His story is as follows. @tony_debolfo writes.

A unique influence from the Apple Isle. In the wake of the recent launch of the League's 19th franchise Tasmania Devils, thoughts turn to the many Tasmanians who have donned the dark Navy Blue in the days, weeks, months and years before.

A visit from @TomBrady and the upcoming Super Bowl had us digging through the archives to share the story of Colin Ridgway - the 'Bagger who paved the way for Aussies in the @NFL
