Delighted to be attending #asmcf2023 virtually today. Listening in on the PGR panel now. Struck as always about the challenges shared by early career folks on both sides of the Atlantic.

Our article on masking in schools to prevent covid is now officially published in @NEJM and free to read!! nejm.org/doi/full/10.10…

“Our results support universal masking as an important strategy for reducing Covid-19 incidence in schools and loss of in-person school days. As such, we believe that universal masking may be especially useful for mitigating effects of structural racism in schools”

For a guy who has been a Senator, Vice President and President, you've got to admit, @JoeBiden is probably the most consistently, repeatedly and unfairly underestimated political leader of our time.

Dems lost votes of everyone over 40, like '20. +25 w/ 18-24 +32 w/ 25-29 +11 w/ 30-39 = is why we have Dem gov in PA, MI, WI & likely Dem Senate. While fear of MAGA was a factor, @POTUS deserves MUCH credit for keeping word/empowering youth. ☑️Student loans ☑️Climate ☑️Guns

Though few people know this, Twitter had a human rights team staffed by some world class lawyers & human rights thinkers. Under Musk's leadership, the *entire team* has been cut from the company.
