Dearest Mother — My time on the battlefield has officially come to an end. My musket will bang no more. While never reaching the peak, I am proud of the career I put together with the Redleg Brigade. And I thank the Queen City for their endless support. Content. — Joseph


Dearest Mother — I have yet to join the flock on the battlefield, but still support alongside the civilians. I cannot wait dust off and fire my musket again. Finally, congratulations to the Redleg Brigade and The Queen City. We start the campaign victorious. — Joseph

Dearest Mother — The wait is finally over, my services have been requested. I’ll head back to our homeland, joining the flock of Blue Jays in Toronto. Cincinnati will be missed, but I cannot wait to battle for Canada. Eager. — Joseph


Dearest Mother — Today The Redleg Brigade begins training for the 2024 Campaign while I remain alone, unwanted by any unit. My musket is beginning to collect dust. I do yearn to be on the battlefield, but I may have to consider a drill sergeant role with my old squadron. — Joseph


Dearest Mother — I write today with a heavy heart. I was informed I will no longer be with the Redleg Brigade come the 2024 Campaign. The Queen City was home for 17 years, the future is now unknown. What a journey it was. One last time, I still bang. Goodbye Cincinnati. — Joseph


Dearest Reds Country — Yesterday was a day full of emotion, it may mark my final battle in Fort GABP. To the The Redleg Brigade and those around The Queen City, I am forever grateful. While the future is uncertain, I will always cherish these memories. Thank you, — Joseph

Dearest Mother — Longshots galore in midst of battle at Fort GABP! Bang! Bang! Bang! Our brigade has pulled ahead, on the hunt for another victory. — Joseph


Dearest Mother — An outstanding performance from youngster Andrew Abbott and his sidearm led us to victory this afternoon. Our muskets firing with great accuracy and power as well. The battle plans executed to perfection. The army from The Bay, stood no chance today. — Joseph

Dearest Mother — Our battle with the rivaled Brew Crew left morale quite low. But news of yet another young prospect joining the Redleg Brigade has boosted our spirits. The wait is over, Trainee Christian Encarnacion-Strand, will join our fight this evening. Excited. — Joseph

Dearest Mother — Victory was achieved this afternoon in our nation’s capital, on the day we celebrate the land of the free no less. Our muskets, along with an impressive performance from newcomer Kennedy’s sidearm, eased tension as we marched onward. Confident. — Joseph


Dearest Mother — Yesterday battle was won in miraculous fashion, Steer blasting a longshot across the battlefield. Today, we celebrate Canada, facing off with the army from out west again. Well, so long as the rain doesn’t ruin Fort GABP, eh? Fingers Crossed. — Joseph


Dearest Mother — I apologize for the abundance of letters tonight, but what a battle! A 12th straight victory for The Redleg Brigade. I must mention Elly, with or without his musket, a true spectacle. I’ve never taken the battlefield with such confidence. Until tomorrow. — Joseph
