Yesterday I walked into a charity shop and came by a book ‘people need people’ by *Benjamin Zephaniah*. I purchased it for my son. So sad to hear that this incredible author & visionary passed on today. He leaves a legacy to all of us who strive for a just & equitable society.

When an elder dies, a library burns to the ground. Benjamin Zephaniah freed many minds with his pen. He has now ascended to join our ancestors, leaving behind a legacy that will travel longer than each of us have on this earth. Thank you for all that you gave, rest in power 🕊️
