Question of the year. I ran de economics in my head. Either the most stressful business model ever with high sponsor dependency coupled with chicken egg issues. Or So diversified that all the income essentially comes from brand attached to name your product or content deals.

how do esports orgs actually make money

Hot take. I’m absolutely enjoying the rollercoaster of “things” happening on twitter. It was stale. If Twitter goes down the drain, what is that to us? I’m sure a competitor will pick up the pieces at no loss to us at all.. not to mention nobody earning real $$ on twitter.

Need to check in here more often. I’m still most active on the Wooting account 😅

A bit shallow to only look at hardware cost. Marketing, (software) development, and after market service should be taken into account before discrediting what’s charged. Then each company you’ll find out where that markup goes (often it’s marketing).

💡👉Even if you don't get a Glorious mouse, at least don't get ripped off. We know how much mice cost to make (including generally what it costs other companies)...if they're charging $125+ MSRP for a mass-produced mouse, you're getting fleeced on huge markups.

Doing the books and listening to @badseedtech going through latest hardware. There's so much development in the keyboard space, most of it just making the hobby more affordable, accessible, and available. Rise of the smaller companies able to play the market faster.

60% wrist rest will come with a few packaging improvements. This is like tear strip iteration 8, it’s gone through quite some cycles. Good now though!

Who do I contact concerning the support for analog input keyboards @TimSweeneyEpic ? Fortnite is doing a great job with multiple device support - but has loopholes. We have an open source SDK for native support. Incl. an unreal engine plugin built on it: github.com/WootingKb/woot…

Feel excited about this year. Starting with the mousepad and desk pads. Finally some real innovation that doesn’t include RGB.

Lekker update #9 Mass production complete! In this update: the last hurdles we had to cross and the impact of Chinese New Year. blog.wooting.nl/mass-productio…

Chinese New Year started today. Celebrating it with wife’s relatives. It’ll last another 3 days. 😅

Finished the LE update. It was actually pretty easy to write up as it doesn’t need to explain certain details or meanings. I think we can publish this week.

😭 every month I need to remind myself to report German taxes before the 10th. Admin drag.
