Due to the presence of lightning, today’s workout has been canceled. There will be no workout on the Fourth of July. See you Friday.
There will be no morning workout today, June 20, due to inclement weather. We will plan to meet by the pond at Jones Park tomorrow at the usual 6:30 time.
Due to the gym parking lot construction, we will meet along the main drive whenever we are at Jefferson this summer.

Conditions were great tonight and the J-Hawks had some solid performances. Over half the team ran their best times of the season! Carl Krampitz & Ian Eirp had time drops of over a minute. Curtis Sanders finished 5th and both Rexton Travagiakis & Caden Davis placed in the top 15.
Great competition and a challenging course tonight at Cedar Falls. While the times weren’t quite what we were looking for, we ran hard, pushed ourselves, and had some individual victories. Keep grinding and good things will happen!
It was a fast day at the CR Invitational last night! Nearly everybody had substantial time drops. Great job everyone! On to Cedar Falls next Thursday.

The J-Hawks had a great night at Hillcrest! Both JV and Varsity teams finished 1st overall. Curtis Sanders was the individual champion and Rexton Travagiakis & Caden Davis had solid races coming in 3rd & 4th, respectively. Lots of individual medals in both races! Great job guys!

Due to excessive heat in the forecast, we will be shifting practice times this week. Monday: 6:00 am Tuesday: 3:30 pm in the pool Wednesday: 6:00 am (Happy 1st day of school!) Thursday: 6:00 am It is extremely important to continue to be properly hydrated and stay safe.
Update to tomorrow’s (8/1) scheduled workout at Cherokee Park: Coach Hilby is unable to attend, so the official team gathering is canceled. You are certainly welcome to run at the park anyway, but know that your workout will either be athlete-led or on your own.
