The City of Starkville Street Department will be conducting a repair around a manhole at the intersection of Lampkin & Montgomery this morning starting at 7:30 a.m. This repair is expected to last until around 10:30 a.m.
On Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024 at 7:30 AM, the City will convert the intersection of Russell St & Jarnigan St/Gillespie St to a 4-way stop condition. This change is to address concerns related to vehicular site visibility when traversing the intersection as well as for pedestrian

Hwy 182 will be closed between Long St and Pilcher St. This closure has been coordinated to be during Fall Break to minimize traffic disruptions. Eastbound traffic should utilize Long St, JW Mosley, and Pilcher as a detour. Westbound traffic should use the current posted detour.
