TAVR UNLOAD just presented at TCT. First RCT in moderate AS and HFrEF. The trial did not meet the primary endpoint at last FU but early TAVR was superior to clinical surveillance at 1 year.

Excellent novel finding by Björnson, Borén and others: TRL/remnants are about 4 times more atherogenic than LDL per particle! jacc.org/doi/full/10.10… Cannot wait to see results on ASCVD reduction in trials focusing on reducing remnant cholesterol in those with high levels
