We capped off the night by going to Denny’s for our last meal together and had our final prayer service to end a great week. We each shared about all the things that made this trip special and are coming back with happy hearts and great satisfaction. #ThatsAWrap #CostaRica2024

We had our last reflection last night about reflecting on the week as a whole and our guys really gained a lot this week. We talked about the importance of brotherhood & how this community has helped us to continue our mission even when we return home. #AlmostDone #CostaRica2024

Last day of work yesterday was great! We finished our assigned jobs and made extreme progress from what we started with on Monday. We can’t thank Huguito, Pedro, Daniel & Will enough for allowing us to come and have this experience this week. #MuchasGracias #CostaRica2024

On our way back to the mission, our bus driver, Carlos, brought us to a church in the small town here where he goes to mass and weekly prayer. The church, La Sagrada Familia, was beautiful. #TourdeCarlos #CostaRica2024

Busy day Wednesday! Señora began the day helping with breakfast cracking eggs. Had a half-day at the work site continuing our jobs from earlier this week and we are making big progress! Concrete team is already onto the next classroom. #HumpDay #CostaRica2024

Tonight’s reflection: Who has inspired us to be the best we can be? How do we see ourselves improving on a personal goal while we’re here? Tonight’s student-chosen scripture focused on what it means to be a guiding light & inspiration for others. #BeTheLight #CostaRica2024

After lunch, we made took a stroll to the nearby supermarket for some ice cream & snacks just before a mid-afternoon storm put the work on hold. Not to worry, the guys are taking advantage of the break and quickly found a way to help pass the time! #FourSquare #CostaRica2024

A special treat for lunch… an authentic Costa Rican rice-stew. Señora took advantage of the chance to watch and learn from the locals on how they used their wooden stove to make the stew! #CocinaDeSenora #CostaRica2024
