Ashamed that a Saudi owned club spent money on Chelsea academy players? Shows our academy is doing something right if anything. Cucu>>>Hall & can’t force latter to be a backup. Livra obvs not better than James, Gusto/Livra ain’t much difference + Livra had an ACL at Southampton.

We should have signed him instead of Jörgensen. He already knows Maresca, good on the ball, experience of English football, played more career matches than Jörgensen & would definitely bench Sánchez. Wouldn’t mind us signing him in the future cos we still need a new starting GK.

Nothing about the 1-1 draw vs Man Utd surprised me (predictable) + it is Old Trafford, a stadium we never win at. It was a match that summed up the decline of both clubs who used to dominate English football. At least, Caicedo scoring saved us from losing I guess.

The consequences of not buying a serious #1 GK that would be a definite upgrade on Sánchez & force Maresca to bench him. Buying Jörgensen instead to be purely a backup GK, who is unlikely to ever become 1st choice, never made any sense.
