I noticed a lot of question dodging yesterday. WILLTHE VACCINE WORK AGAINST THE NEW MUTATED STRAND? and CAN WE STILL TRANSMIT TO OTHERS AFTER BEING VACCINATED?
One can assume COVID immunity a few weeks following 2nd dose. One with immunity is much less likely to get sick or have complications, but in theory CAN still transmit infection. So it’s still important to wear a mask around others who are susceptible.
Is there a lag time between 2nd dose injection and immunity? And after immunity, is it safe to not wear a mask, etc., or can you still transmit the virus?
