CECA attended the Electric Vehicles Road to Prevalence event presented by The Empire Club of Canada. Discussions included steps to solidify consumer confidence, lower product costs, and lift dependence on government incentive programs to gain widespread adoption.

U of T CECA Student Chapter team placed first out of 13 teams in the initial round of the Green Energy Challenge. Top three teams move on to round 2. They have to create a video and present their project at the NECA convention in Las Vegas in September.
