Childcare continues to be one of the highest costs facing California families with children. This year’s #CABudget subsidizes childcare for families struggling to make ends meet, which helps parents get back into the workforce and supports childcare providers. #ProtectOurProgress
The #CABudget makes higher education more accessible, including funding debt-free public higher education for foster youth, who face more obstacles to going to college. These programs will help more CA students afford higher education & maintain CA’s economic competitiveness.
