Journalism is not a crime. Insein Prison is a notoriously cruel place. Danny does not belong there. He should be released immediately along with every other journalist who has been unfairly targeted for doing their job during the Myanmar crisis.

On Sunday, a large force of the Myanmar junta's soldiers and police deployed to Hlaingthaya township of Yangon fatally shot 31 protesters. "It was the highest daily death toll in one location since the coup." A total 51 were killed over the weekend. nytimes.com/2021/03/14/wor…
