Congratulations to the 7 Roma High Mariachi Program students who earned chairs in the prestigious TMEA All-State Mariachi Ensemble!! There are only 18 chairs in the TMEA state ensemble, with Roma ISD students securing more than 1/3 of them! They are taught by Director Eloy Garza.
Last year I introduced Tsuki, a beautiful Japanese lullaby and 4th grade loved singing it 🥰 This year, now 5th graders, we’re playing it in duets with different borduns to accompany the lovely melody. Stay tuned for part 2: canons + medleys 🤩 Proud of my Purple Parrots 💜🦜
