I had measles at 14yrs in boarding school in Ghana. I only had 1 infant MMR; 2 MMRs are now required for all kids. I was quite ill, but 1 MMR & being an older kid helped me recover fully. Measles is so contagious that ~90% of nonimmune people will get it if exposed. 9 OUT OF 10.

The Malawi typhoid campaign starts today! Over the weekend the Chikwawa District EPI team waded the vaccine where it needed to get, and slept the night with the supplies & vehicle to keep it all safe. #Vaccine heroes doesn't even begin to describe them. Respect! @PreventTyphoid
